Music has always been a big part of Michael's life.  Growing up he spent a lot of time with his uncle who was a singer/songwriter and producer for a soul/funk group called Central Line back in the 80s.

Growing up Michael always pretended that he was a DJ, and when going to family parties he always watched how the DJs played, Michael would help the DJ's set up and sometimes get to mix on the decks.

​

Eventually Michael  got his own Technics 1210 turntables, and since then has never looked back! Michael has spent the last 20 years mixing and blending across multiple genres , but his main influences were initially RnB, Hip Hop, Reggae, Dancehall, Soul, Rare Groove, Slow Jams, House & Garage. 

​

Michael always wanted to be a radio DJ, so he would record himself playing music as if presenting his own radio show. In his late 20s, Michael got the opportunity to present on on a local radio station, DejaVu FM.  

​

As a result of this exposure, his talent was recognised by some of London's club promotors. Michael was soon a regular  on the club circuit, playing at some of the top clubs and Urban promotions across London, including Ministry Of Sound, Raduno, Cameos and  Moonlighting, to name a few.

​

In 2012 Michael was introduced to Terry at Capital DJ Services by a fellow professional DJ, and it was here where his career took a major change of direction. Michael has moved away from the clubs and now is a well established professional mobile event DJ, playing all genres of music. Although he does relish the chance to play those Urban club nights, Michael rarely gets to do so, as he is too busy spinning anything from Motown, Soul,  70s disco, 80's Classics, 90s-2000's  Pop and current top 40 Chart and Dance music on the Wedding, Corporate and Private circuit.  Michael can be found  applying his trade every week in many of London's top hotel and wedding venues, as well as for household brand names, such as Timberland and Samsung to name just a couple.
